This exterior renovation in Frinton on Sea adds space and increases Kerb Appeal. We built the new roof using mixed heather roof tiles, in keeping with nearby period homes.
Conversion of the loft space, with added dormer windows, involved laying new felt roofs with lead edgings in order to ensure a sympathetic and authentic character in keeping with the original building style.
The completed conversion features new fascia boards and Ogee guttering and we finished off with a total redecoration of the house exterior.
Garage Conversions
This unused garage was formerly used to store items that were subsequently transferred to a new shed in the garden, allowing Custom Building to transform a previously redundant space into a stylish new extra bedroom.
The up-and-over garage door on the front of the property was replaced with a Georgian bar UPVC window, in keeping with the adjoining house frontage. A brick pier was built on the right hand side, to create a symmetrical opening and a brick wall added below the window to match with the rest of the exterior wall.
